Each Church of England church has a sort of ‘catchment area’, called a parish. The normal requirement to get married in the church is that at least one of you lives within the parish (or is on the Electoral Roll here– that is on the membership list of regular attendees).
To check to see if you live within the parish boundaries, please check our list of roads.
In addition, following recent changes in wedding regulations, it is now possible for a couple to be married in a church that has a special meaning to them even if neither of them currently lives in the parish or is on the Electoral Roll there. Please see our list of qualifying connections to see if this applies to you.
