Where and When
We meet at the Church Building for our Sunday Services starting at 9.30am for a traditional service of Holy Communion and at 11am for our contemporary Worship For Everyone (WFE). For your first visit, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to ensure you get a parking space and find somewhere to sit before the service begins. If you are coming to the 11am WFE service, coffee is also available before the service. When you arrive, you will be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team.
We serve tea, coffee and biscuits after the 9.30am service, and before, during (yes!) and after the 11am service. It is a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings. All refreshments are free.
Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There are disabled toilets in the Parish Centre.
Our Services
During the month of August there is one combined service at 10.00am, our 9.30 and 11.00am services will resume on Sunday 4th September.
What is the difference between the 9.30am and 11am service? Find out here.
Both services begin with a friendly welcome. They both have a blend of singing, spoken liturgy (words we say together to proclaim our beliefs, express our sorrow for doing wrong, etc), prayers to God and a Bible reading followed by a short sermon or talk that is based on the Bible reading and that we can apply to our everyday life. At the end of the service we share news and notices, usually about what’s going on in the life of the church. Both services are about one hour in length.
